Recently, the school of mechanical engineering invited Li Zhongxing, the director of international department of UJS to give the lecture on international education entitled “the growth and the way of the international talents of Jiangsu University” for grade 2017 freshmen.
At the lecture, director Li cited some examples to clearly introduce what is the international talent and how to grow into an international talent from four aspects including the basic qualities that the international talents should possess, the planning of the internationalization of education, the history of our university’s internationalization and relevant measures for cultivating international talents in UJS.
Through the lecture, the freshmen had a clearer understanding of internationalization and the basic knowledge of internationalization. Furthermore, this lecture can broaden the horizons of the freshmen and cultivate the basic qualities that international talent should possess.
The School of Mechanical Engineering Held the Lecture on Mental Health Education for Grade 2017

On the September 14th, the school of mechanical engineering invited Lu Jing, the associate director of mental health education center of UJS to give the lecture on mental health education entitled “University Life-Start Your Journey of Wisdom with Your Heart” for grade 2017.
At the lecture, teacher Lu cited some examples to clearly introduce what is university, transformation that university is facing and how to act and how to enjoy university life from three aspects including how to understand university, how to adapt to the university and how to keep mental health.
Through this lecture, the freshmen had a clearer knowledge of university and basic knowledge of mental health. Furthermore, this lecture can help freshmen adjust their state of mind in time and adapt to university life as soon as possible.
The School of Mechanical Engineering Held the Opening Ceremony of Undergraduate Students Grade 2017 Ceremoniously

On the September 12th, 2017 in Postgraduate report hall the school of mechanical engineering held the opening ceremony of undergraduate students grade 2017.Leadership of the school of mechanical engineering such as Party chief of the Communist Party of School of Mechanical Engineering Zhou Jian zhong, dean Ren Xu dong etc., leadership of industrial center, secretaries of all party branches of the school, department chiefs, working committee for the care of the next generation and all the freshmen grade 2016 attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided by vice Party chief of the Communist Party of School of Mechanical Engineering Pan Hong jun.
In the ceremony, dean Ren Xu dong introduced the overview of school in recent years in the aspects such as teaching, scientific research, students work achievements. He hoped that all the freshmen often engage in self-examination, remember the original heart, work hard, be a gentleman and try the best to realize dream. Teachers' representative, director of the electromechanical department Zhang Zhong qiang held eager hopes to all the freshmen. He hoped that freshmen can learn to self-cultivation, develop the independent learning ability and maintain good physical quality. Student representative, Wang Xiao ying shared the harvest and experience of university life. Freshmen representative Liu Yu hao expressed appreciation to the care of school and determined to study hard and repay society. School leaderships' and student representatives' wonderful speeches got warm applause of freshmen.
The opening ceremony is the start of the education of freshmen grade 2016. School of mechanical engineering will also hold a series of lectures to guide students to adapt to college life faster, university of science and plan their study career scientifically in order to successfully finish university learning.
