To improve the teaching quality of our college's all-English lectures and select outstanding teachers to participate in the college's all-English teaching competition, the College of Mechanical Engineering held the College Review Match of the Sixth All-English Teaching Competition at 8:30 a.m. on 20 October in the 303-classroom of Sanshan Building. The Lecture Competition was launched at the end of September and was divided into two parts: departmental preliminaries for selection and the college re-match. Each department of the college held the departmental preliminaries in earnest, and after selection, 10 teachers were recommended to participate in the college's rematch. The competition was hosted by Professor Xu Zhenying, Dean of Teaching and Learning, and invited Professor Gu Jinan, Professor Xu Lin, and other teachers with overseas experience and rich teaching experience to be the judges.
After a fierce competition, the first place in the College Repeat of the Whole English Teaching Competition was won by Mr. Liang Yuchen of the Department of Intelligent Manufacturing, and two second prizes and seven third prizes in the College Repeat of the Whole English Teaching Competition were also awarded. Among the award-winning teachers, Liang Yuchen and Liu Hong will be recommended to participate in the final round of the school's All-English Teaching Competition.
In this competition, 10 teachers prepared the courseware carefully, spoke fluently, grasped the teaching content and teaching rhythm accurately, paid attention to teaching concepts and teaching methods, and fully demonstrated the full English teaching level and style of the teachers of the School of Mechanical Engineering. We wish the 2 teachers to keep up their good work and strive for better results in the next school finals!
