On October 18th, the Mechanical College held a secretary's lecture in Lecture Hall Group 302. Pan Hongjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Mechanical College, gave the lecture, which was attended by the college's new student counselors and all new students.
At the lecture, Pan Hongjun firstly, on behalf of the party committee of the college and all the teachers and students of the college, warmly welcomed and congratulated the new students of the class of 2023, and introduced in detail the disciplinary advantages of the College of Mechanical Engineering, its history of development as well as the cultivation of talents and other aspects to the students. Then, Secretary Pan encouraged the mechanical students to have the country and the party in their hearts, to love Jiangsu University and the School of Mechanical Engineering and hoped that each new student would be courageous to take up the mission in their youthful years, show vitality in their youthful years, and make full use of the five major projects built by the college such as casting souls, reading, three walks, innovation and internships, to cultivate themselves into new-age college students who are thoughtful, energetic, innovative, and responsible college students. Finally, Secretary Pan encouraged all students to continue to strengthen theoretical learning, establish a correct worldview, and outlook on life and values, maintain a positive and enterprising mentality, and strive to realize the value of their lives.
The lecture, for the new students in Jiangda learning life, put forward new requirements, new vision, and new goals, encouraging the majority of mechanical students to actively forge ahead, fight, and strive, waving youthful sweat, and watering a wonderful future.
