Recently, the School of Mechanical Engineering have held a lecture on the academic guidance of 2023 undergraduates majoring in Mechanics in the Lecture Hall Group. The lecture was hosted by the new student counselor Wang Xianliang, who invited Dai Liling, a teacher from the Committee of Workers' Concerns, to give the lecture, which was attended by all 2023 undergraduates majoring in Mechanics.
Prof. Dai communicated with the students, she firstly introduced that Jiangsu University is one of the first pilot universities of the National Excellence in Engineer Education and Training Program, and the Mechanical Major was established to cultivate high-quality and high-quality talents, so students should be proud of it, strive for excellence, and dare to work hard. Afterwards, Prof. Dai elaborated the relationship between "Graphics" and "Mathematics" through the well-prepared PPT, and guided the students to learn the method of engineering courses; at the same time, she encouraged everyone to be innovative and improve their comprehensive quality by participating in professional competitions. At the end, Prof. Dai sent a message to all the students that they should study hard, abide by the discipline, and make unremitting efforts to realize their own ideals in life and create an era that belongs to us.
This seminar aimed to help new students master the basic knowledge of their majors, clarify the direction of professional learning, and strengthen the connection between students and the teachers of the Committee on Workers' Concerns.
