Recently, the College of Machinery held a "Experience Intelligent Manufacturing" exchange activity for Chinese and foreign students in the laboratory of the College of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing. Teachers of the Department of Intelligent Manufacturing, representatives of foreign students in China, and some undergraduates participated in this activity. This activity is divided into three parts: special report, robot training and practical training.
Mr. Gu Heng first made a special academic report on "What is intelligent manufacturing" for Chinese and foreign students, explained the concepts of artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing in depth and detail, introduced the core elements and key technologies in the field of intelligent manufacturing in detail, and made Chinese and foreign students more clear about intelligent manufacturing with the help of typical cases such as "additive manufacturing".
When Chinese and foreign students came to the intelligent manufacturing laboratory, Teacher Guo Juan introduced the software and hardware functions of the cooperative robot, and demonstrated the automatic operation process of the mechanical arm changing tooling to complete loading and unloading and bolt assembly. At the same time, it helps Chinese and foreign students understand the basic composition, manufacturing process and detection and control system of intelligent manufacturing line. Under the guidance of teachers, foreign students have experienced the charm of industrial robots replacing manual work through manual control.Finally, in the practical training, teacher Chen Tingzhuo explained the working principle, basic structure, equipment operation and use method of 3D printer to the students, and guided Chinese and foreign students to carry out practical operation in groups, printing Hello Kitty, Batman, vases and other hand companions or handicrafts.
This activity helped Chinese and foreign students deeply experience intelligent manufacturing, further stimulated their interest in learning knowledge in the field of intelligent manufacturing, enhanced their hands-on and practical abilities through robot training, strengthened international exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign students, and won unanimous praise and warm applause from Chinese and foreign students, achieving complete success.
