On December 9, the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University successfully undertook the National ESTIA 24 Hours Innovation Competition (referred to as the "24 Hours Innovation Competition") Jiangsu University Division competition schedule. The French ESTIA 24-hour Innovation Competition is jointly sponsored by the French ESTIA Institute of Engineering and many international companies. The theme of this year is "Protect the Earth". This year’s French 24 Hours Innovation Competition has set up 2 sub-contest areas in China, namely Jiangsu University and Hebei University. On the day of the competition, the organizer announced 40 competition questions for contestants to choose from. There are 7 teams in our school with 40 players. Contestants from different colleges actively participated in this 24-hour innovation competition Jiangsu University sub-division online defense. The judges were jointly held by Professor Wang Yun and Fan Wei of Jiangsu University and Professor Peng Chen and Octavian from the French ESTIA School of Engineering. In the end, the "Five Pines" team of the School of Mechanical Engineering, under the guidance of Mr. Huang Shu from the Industrial Center, won the first place in the group stage with a total score of 354 points and entered the final of the French home arena.
The French ESTIA 24-hour Innovation Competition aims to solve human engineering problems, build a communication platform between enterprises and students, and discover emerging engineering talents. Innovative design enthusiasts from more than 20 countries around the world work together 24 hours a day to create and design innovation together application. The School of Mechanical Engineering has always encouraged students to participate in international competitions and strengthen international exchanges. This competition is also a test of the educational achievements of the Chinese and French classes of machinery. As the main force of this competition, the Chinese and French students won the affirmation of the organizer for their excellent design and good communication skills.
